Thanks Man, I'm not sure how I will take to the flat lands as I've lived around mountains my whole life, but we will see. As far as local car stuff, have you ever been to any of the Cars and coffee events or local cruises? Kind of looking for a venue to meet some people

I'm getting a support group together of C3 owners locally around Omaha. I've tried to fit in with the club crowd, but not really interested in C5 & C6 tech discussions. (Please don't get me wrong). We do a couple of the big local shows, and some smaller ones. You're more than welcome to join us sometime when you make it here. 5 or 6 of us, and all chrome bumpers.

There's some great shows around the area. Some dates, H&H Chevy is July 21, and the Bennington show is Sept 1. There are a lot of smaller towns that really go out to put on some nice shows.

I try to make it to Alaska trout fishing whenever I can. If it was September weather there year round, I would never leave.

Good to see the tread is connecting some people. Not to mention we are taking over this regional forum. Sunday I am heading to the show in Gresham, NE. It isn't a big show maybe 150 cars. But is a good local show.

Just got back from the show in Gresham. Guessing I didn't see any of you there being that I was the only corvette. Out of about 100 cars I won best interior, paint and engine. I was pretty darn happy. Anyone going to the show in Blair on the 8th of June. Should be a big corvette show.

I got a thumbs up today at 84th and Harrison around noon from a guy in a pewter C5 FRC or Z. I was in my blue '88 Conquest. If it was anyone here, post a reply. Your C5 looked great!
