Default Winter Projects

Hey guys... anybody doing any special winter projects? I should have a new ZO6 by christmas and then its coming apart right away getting set up for Time Trials. Then hopefully my wife and I will be traveling south a few times so I can get on a track and practice a few times.

I would like to get some more of you guys out there and do HPDE ( High Performance Driving Experience) With NASA Rocky Mountain. You will have so much fun doing it and learn to operate your car fast and safely.

I'm getting booked up doing projects for friends and fellow forum members as well if you need any help over the winter feel free to ask.. I work for beer often.!!

NASA Rocky Mountain Schedule.
Everything is confirmed.

April 5-6 Pikes Peak Raceway

May 3-4 Pueblo Motorsports Park

May 24-25 Topeka (w/CR)

June 22-23 Hallett (only points for some classes)

July 12-13 High Plains Raceway (w/CR)

Aug 9-10 Motorsports Hastings (w/CR)

Sept 20-21 Pueblo Motorsports Park

Oct 11-12 High Plains Raceway

Notes:

Still looking for a MMP weekend that fits well.... June?

Still waiting to hear about location of National Championships.... Sept 4th-7th

May have a single HPDE/Enduro Day at HPR in June....

Still awaiting which weekend if we team up with Spears again.

Why not buy the software and learn to tune? That's what I did on my C5.

The C7 is on hold for now. I am getting laid off on 01/03. I cancelled my order (again) until I can find a new job.

Now that I have finally decided to keep my C5 I will be putting a LS7 top end (TSP PRC heads) on the 427 in my C5. It currently has a LS3/L92 top end on it. I am also going to change out the cam, install a DeWitts radiator with EOC, and may swap the clutch out as well.

When I get to the point of checking push rod length I may hit up one of you guys that have done it before.

whats done to your car? if it was me I would most likely leave the LS3 top end and not change it or maybe invest in better heads than the PRC. nothing bad about them, but for few more you can get a better casting and better head overall.

I am running a small (for a 427) cam. Would other heads matter much in that case?
