AC Work Needed On 1998 C5
Looking for a great shop around the Omaha/Lincoln/Fremont, Nebraska area to do some AC work for me. I have a 1998 C5 and I've had it to 2 different shops in Arizona before I left in April. I'm now living in Fremont and would like any recommendations on a good AC or Corvette shop in the area. Good to be back home and around family again too.

I didn't make it to that other shop I mentioned earlier. But I went and talked to a different shop that came highly recommended by a couple friends and some family members a couple days ago. I might report back, and I might not, when I get the work I need done, done.

By word of mouth, I tried Peterson's in West Point. I have family there so it worked out to visit when I dropped it off and picked it up. Not the cheapest place but I wasn't looking to save a penny here and there. Very nice people too.

My opinion has changed 180 with this shop. Peterson's Body and Repair is a very good place if anyone needs work done around West Point, NE.

So, Peterson's shop is actually a pretty decent place. It's been a couple years now since I had my AC worked on up there. I'm not sure what they did, but I've been having issues with it leaking down for the last 6-7 years and no shop I took it to could find anything. Whatever Pearson's mechanic did worked, and he said he couldn't find anything leaking either. It's been blowing cold ever since I took it to them so I'm changing my opinion of that shop. I'll be taking it to them from now on if I ever need anything done. The paint shop is a very good place too. Not cheap but very good from what the owner showed me when he gave me a tour of the place a few years ago when I had them paint my tank covers.
