Good C2 Help in COS Area
At any rate, I am now at the age where I find it difficult even to bend over and pull out the dipstick to check the oil on "Ol' Shake, Rattle, and Roar" (it has the sidemount exhaust), so anything else is beyond my physical capability. Therefore, can anyone refer me to a capable mechanic here in Colorado Springs, CO, since the Corvette Center went the way of all flesh a couple of years ago? I'm not in desperate need at present as the car is running quite well, but most techs nowadays don't know enough about the idiosyncrasies of that old Rochester fuel injection to even start it up to put it on a lift for an oil change and grease job.
I'm sure there are shops in Denver, although I'm not familiar with things up there and I kinda hate to have to kill a whole day just for a LOF or having to arrange transportation back and forth in the event of any longer shop time.
Thanks for any help.

Not a lot of luck so far on my fuelie, but I have had Hutcheson Performance & Repair (2815 Gunnison, 719-630-3700) do some work on my three rather rare and complex MoPars -- '57 300C (392 CID/375 HP hemi), '60 Fury SonoRamic Commando (2X4V cross-ram carbs), and '65 Sport Fury (426 CID/4-speed). Hutch is more of a bowtie guy than a MoPar nerd like me, but he and his crew did show they at least knew such critters as mine did exist and were able to help me. The fuelie developed a coolant leak just last week, so I'm taking it in on the 31st for them to take a look at it. I may have some more info for you after that.
