New member in Colorado Springs. April '25
Most of the Colorado threads are old.. I thought I'd start a new one for 2025. I'm 68 and getting back into Corvettes.
Current cars/projects:
1969 Vette 350/300 4 speed. Torn apart for restortation.
1966 Coupe. New purchase 327/300 4 speed. Few things to fix.. It hasn't been on the road in 30 years.
327 engine complete. Double hump heads. 454 nice engine. Both for sale.
1969 Charger. 383 AT
1970 Coronet 500 383 AT
1971 Charger 383 AT
1971 Challenger 408 stroker, 4 speed.
3) 1973 Pontiac Grand Ams. 2 455's 1 400 AT
1981 Camaro BumbleBee 350 AT
1997 Camaro SS 350 6 speed.
1991 Ford F-150 351 AT
1981 Ram 50 2.4L 5 speed.
I read about others asking abour driving in Colorado. In the Camaro with the T-tops off it's a completely spiritual experience.

The Southern Colorado Corvette Club (SC3) is located in Pueblo and are pretty active with club drive and dines, etc.

I'm in Canon City and am not too far from Pueblo to participate in some events. I have a 1988 convertible I recently inherited from my late father. I'd like to learn more about how other owners approach maintenance and restoration of their corvettes. I'll reach out soon.
