So you think the Borla's a bit loud now with the KOOKs? Alot of CF members run the Ti's for just that reason. TBorlas seem to be just a bit agressive for us Daily Drivers. They may restrict a bit but don't think it will be noticable. Talk to Alex, he has them.
Hey Barry So what happened is it Vettechs or VetteDocs? I just wanted to keep up everyones interest in you choice since your thread was locked for some reason
Very true. I actually learned how to increase the size of the font in the Post area. By the way, that was a great vid by you with Nabbs. I'm looking forward to that run. Hopefully you will be able to steer us clear of the infamous Pothole which you so graphically described for us.
From: Vette Doctors Performance RX450 - 466RWHP !!!
IF I recall ...the pothole was just as we approached Grants Tomb on the Eastside Approach street. I was way too close to Nabbs and didnt have any reaction time. One thing to remember on the ride...is to try and keep a car length or more distance between you and the car in front of you. This should allow for sufficient reaction time.
Ok Villain.....learn to read Junior.....I already Posted its Vettech that will get to do my Oil Change!!!!
The post is locked cause I had it locked!!
Just an FYI, TTP does all the edit work for VetTech I believe.
I am going to have to head up to TTP to have some edit work done (need to take the stupid rear O2s out and have my speedo corrected). Once the weather gets a little better.
I have larger (19") and wider tires (285 fr 305 r), so my speedo is off. I can see that on the GPS -- the speedo says I'm going faster then I am. Not a huge deal till I hit 100, then it's about 3-5mph faster then actual.
LS1 Edit can correct that.

PS - Barry, if the weather is nice Monday, wanna take a ride up to TTP

I think you should get a 2nd opinion on that (like me, lol) I have 19s too and when i spoke to John at CCW he advised me its not necessary to re-adjust the speedo because the overall tire height is very close to stock and its not enough to throw off the speedometer.

Isnt engineering wonderful?
Hey Ike,
The taller tires do throw the speedo off, albeit slightly. It is much more noticable above 90mph. I've used the caluclator and my real-time GPS speed vs. HUD. The HUD indicates 3-5mph faster then the GPS.

Hey Nabbs
There's a post in the C5 gen section about CCW coming out with a new 18/19 combo of the 505As and Sp500s that will fit C6 runflat tires. Think those would solve the speedo problem?? (the vette's speedo, not the ones you wear to the beach )

Why would you want runcraps? Or smaller wheels? The speedo can be adjusted with LS1 edit or any other software to compensate for the different tires and wheels. There is some calculator out there that you can use to determine if your overall wheel height changes.
