Sunday 3/13 Run to Captree
Alright, we have nothing but blue sky, sun and 36. snow's melting, roads are drying up. I say thats good enough. who's in for a meetup at Captree in the morn? some good coffee, conversation, a few new mods to checkout, setup for the upcoming cruises and even a cigar.
Am I alone? It brings to mind the John Belushi movie (I think it was 1941? No it was Animal House) where he said "Over, its not over, I'll tell you when its over, now lets go Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh"
Update -- FJB (alias Barry) corrected my selection of Movie title. It was Animal House.
Update #2 -- found the actual words and file

You know as I posted it I was thinking maybe it was from Animal House. Thanks for correcting me. They play it a Giant stadium all the time when the Giants are losing. By the way, they play it alot!

Darn I miss another weekend while I break in the new gears. I can go fast I just need about 20 mins to get up to speed.
I always thought I drove my car at reasonable rates, but now having to hold back I realize I beat my car. Friggin little rice rockets tempting me all over the place...
Oh well only 500 miles until the throttle can be hit....

The same thing happened when I first picked up my car. I still subscribe to the 500 mile breakin of no constant speed for any long duration, no jack rabbit starts and worst of all nothing over 55 mph. I jotted down license plates of people who were busting my b*lls each morning and when the 500 miles was up, well you can imagine pay back
Too bad you can't make but we will toast a hot coffee or cocoa for you

That sounds like a negative on the event? We'll be there for a while though I thought you had to be in Farmingdale at 12:30. Why don't you bring the SO? Embarassed of us?

First off....its hard enough getting my butt out of bed on a sunday in the early hours...to get my SO out of just aint happening....and me being in Farmingdale at 1230 involved me running back to Queens to get her !!! And now shes moved the time up to 1130. So , If do wake early enough...I might take the ride , just to take a ride.....now if I remember the cigars, thats another story....lol....
If Alex shows up.....please dont smoke around him...the 2nd hand smoke will effect any chance he has of growing to a respectable height!!!
