Whats with people and a Break-in period???
Get out and get on that car already!!!!
But Doug and Chris took that into consideration so they put a bowl of hot piping soup on your dash board and if you take off too fast it lands in your pants.
Really there is a big break in period for the gears so I have been cruising around at the most of 3K RPM and trying not to punch it in turns. It sucks, but I know with this nice weather it will not take long to get to the 500 mark.
I'm sure Chris and Doug said you can use it......just don't abuse it.
Your right. I have been using each day for about 45 mins and then letting it sit overnight for the gears to settle in. Today is the 3rd burn in day so I should be able to drive it longer distance and start to hit the gas a bit more.
I have to admit though from what I can tell these gears are a big big big improvement....

Newsflash....Its dirt and it washes off with a hose. Unlike the myths perpetrated on this forum...your car will not melt if it gets wet, dirty, or otherwise. I have a black suv and I know how dirty it can get, but SO WHAT!!!!
So are all you baby, bedwetters awake? Have you had your formula and a change of diapers? Oh well maybe next week!
For those that braved the beaming subshine, 40 plus degrees and utilized the handling capabilities of the Corvette to go around the puddles, hats off to a great day.
Chris, Alex, Eddy and myself are troopers for braving otherwise hazardous conditions to get together for a cup of coffee, good conversation and figure out how much money to spend on what mods.
Ok, now that thats off my chest, hope you all have a great day.
Also need to finalize our plans for Englishtown next Saturday,
What a gorgeous day we had a Captree. We actually stayed till 12 since it was so nice. There were no puddles anywhere on the highway, just some snow mounds in the Captree parking lot. There was a great turnout today. I'll post the pics soon. Eddy and I got a nice scare from some state trooper that was hiding in the bushes on Ocean Pkway. As Eddy passed by, the cop emerged and gunned it. I knew he wasn't after me because he poked out before I reached him and started merging but I thought he was going after Eddy. Luckily, he passed him doing 100+ and disappeared. We both looked at each other and were glad it wasn't us. Damn State troopers!!!
Good thing I changed the wax i use on my head as the sweet rolled right off when I saw that trooper make my radar detector scream. It was tough keeping my foot off the gas, breaking in the rear. Nice day, Thanks to Ed & Alex.

It was good fun..It felt good to get the vette out for a little romp and to see all the great looking cars that showed up (and the non-vettes were nice to). I am a maybe for Saturday, depends on how I am feeling and if I am ready for my flight back
