(Welcome back!!!) Obey: Getting a warning is not "profiling" Profiling is getting shot/beaten/shake down/ and tickets on the road for no reason.
(I can attest to this...except for the shot/beaten part, but this may change when I drive through NJ tomorrow)

.New Jersey does not have part time state troopers, nor did it hire extra troopers for the summer season. However, a new class of 66 FULL TIME, PERMANENT troopers recently graduated from the academy. Its quite possible OBEY was pulled over by one of the newbies. Its very rare to see two troopers in a patrol car these days, so one was most likely a rookie and the other his "mentor". Once you're pulled over the trooper has to do something so the vet back in the cruiser probably told him to let it go with a warning.
