I am taking the Srt-10 emblems off the car as I type.
Sorry Dolph, but if you've ever called me and told me you won't be able to attend a run because your wife is making you stay home -- you're disqualified
Only open to Garage Queens, Waxers, Fair Weather Drivers and Trailer driven Corvettes.
Oh come on... that's like keeping your pet doberman tied to a 2 foot chain in your backyard for his whole life. Wheels arent' square, these things were meant to be driven!
Mine is stored outside, in an open lot... and I drive it. And somehow it manages to stay very clean, since I wash it once a week. Would I be welcome?

Please keep this post On Topic and refrain from making any other comments except if you will attend and how many will be in your retinue.

If you have ever driven your Corvette on public roads, you will be disqualified. If you have even driven it in the rain, you will be shot.
I just looked everywhere.
There's no section in this Forum called, "On Topic."
What do you mean by "retinue"? Is that one of them there fancy English words? Does it have anything to do with that Tazer eye surgery I've been hearing about??
I think I meet some of your qualifications. I am a closet waxer and I tend to avoid the rain when I'm in the vette but it's been known to get wet (mostly by accident). I have been spotted on public roads on numerous occassions. Every time this happens though, the police forces me onto the shoulder and off the road (unless I manage to evade them or implicate another vette, illegally using a public road )

Alex1217, we need more members like you to attend out NorthEast Corvette Shows. You are a model owner
But be careful; there are snakes among us that will drive their Corvettes and actually (*gasp*) allow them to get wet. not to mention whine to the mods to have threads l-o-c-k-e-d

You only live once. I can honestly say that I've experienced every aspect of the corvette lifestyle, from judged shows, to drag racing, track sessions, cruises, charity events, meccas to Bowling Green, KY, and of course the occassional triple digit, bat out of hell, the cops will never catch me, sprint.
Sorry, I am not trying to hi-jack, but can you clarify what is needed in order to be "factory original"?
Here is what I am doing?
1- Returning to original air in the tires (I kept it in a pressurized scuba tank).
2- Original windshield wiper fluid
3- Original oil
4- Pre-Column Lock tune
5- I have asked GM to re-instate my warranty
6- OEM (non-mod) Bank Account Balance
7- Original un-married/non-house owner insurance rates
I want my car to look *exactly* like the 53239 produced just like it.
If there are any other things I can do for door prizes, let me know.
