You know, I was going to let you off easy, but .......

Even though we were dead even on the 3 starts. I only saw you in my rear view mirrors. I got so bored with you, that I went to play with Fallen.

What I think we should do is have a track day to settle the score (and finish off my clutch).

Also I want to race Ike, to see if his AFR car can take me out.

I can give you guys pointers on launching if you want. The best day to do this is on a Friday, which, unfortunately means we will need to take the day off.

For the track, I would recommend Island, since we will get the chance to line up against one another and probably be able to make many passes if we arrive by 5 pm. I'll have to check the schedule, and I'll eventually start a post to get an idea of who may be interested in going.

Pete, before you buy the 402, you should wait and see whate GM's price will be on the LS7 bareblock. It should be announced soon. I'd hate for you to buy the 402 and then see me build a 427+ for the same price. Just Something to consider.

Are you sure we can't use a regular oiling system (gerator pump) with the ls7 block? I not so sure we have to use the ls7 dry sump system.

Thanks Nabbs. Another great run! Weather permitting, I'm a year round driver so I'm ready for the next one.

I had a long conversation with one of Westport's Finest in the parking lot. He himself is a C5 owner and the primary reason he was there was to see the gaggle of Corvettes. A very pleasant and amiable example of the Westport PD. (I got to him after FJB schmoozed him and I guess he figured all these Corvette thugs were cool.)

Once again...thanks to Nabbs...hey...you got an in with Mother Nature? Good job Naveed!!
