Anyone in Queens/LI ever used Triumph Auto Glass on Rockaway Ave?
(it was "recommended" today by my ins. co.) I'm just curious to find out if they're good, or if I should go elsewhere.....

Yup....it's the 'vette....
Happened on Sunday during the Ribs Run on the Merritt.....
The crack is now about 15 inches, but it's getting worse if I drive the car. I may need a drink before they start operating on it....don't think I can stand the sight....
If your insurance company is paying for it, I'd recommend Safelite. They're expensive but good, also they have lifetime warranty I believe. Plus they'll go to your place of work or residence for the same price.

Thanks.
I'm going to go visit Triumph on Sat. morning, just to see their work. If I dont' like it, I'll try someone else. The last thing I want to do is pay out of pocket, then have the ins. co. not reimburse me. I'll really be pissed off, especially since they rip me on my annual premium!
I've used Mobile Auto Glass (718) 657-7951, for a number of my cars, at my dealership in South Ozone Park. I find their work to be very neat and professional and it doesn't hurt that they are very reasonable. You can either bring the car there or have someone come to you.
