My apologies. This is NYS Police policy not law see post# 13 . There is a law that is pending the Gov. signature to change this policy but until it is signed they will not plea - bargain.

, Actually I have a summer home by Monticello, and I'm always doing 100++, I did get a ticket once in Goshen, NY, it was plead down to $100...all I can say it, theres going to lots of begging and pleading on the shoulder lanes..
