corvette/viper bracket racing
Saturday,Sept. 16 is the annual corvette/viper bracket racing at New England Dragway.Bring your cars up,qualify your ET's in the morning and bracket race in the afternoon.

You'll likely see some Vettes, but probably not so many Vipers. A few years ago, 8 Vipers showed up - and each was eliminated in the first round! The following year, only a single Viper showed up. As fate would have it, I got paired with it, but I'm pleased to report that I kept up the tradition. 
The next year, only Vettes came.
Based on that trend, I predict this year a negative number of Vipers.

I think 1 Viper has shown up in the past 3 years. Plus you share the track all day with 10 other groups.
I think it needs to be better planned and have clubs and a car show also. Make a bigger better day for it. Also make it for charity.

Also there will be a BIG Dollar Bracket Race on the same day that you can also run in. Here's the info on that race as posted on northeastdragracing.com

$25 paid at the gate to NED
$100 entry fee
$50 buybacks, 1st and 2nd round
Class payouts are based on 100 cars.
Winner - $5000
R/U - $1500
*$100 round money begins with the 3rd round winner*
Finalists will not receive round money
We will then have a bonus runoff race for both winners for an undetermined purse.
We are happy to add PRINCE RACING TRANSMISSIONS as a contingency sponsor for the race.
Rick Prince has added a WINTER FRESHEN-UP ($400 value) to the winner in Box and No Box. The freshen-up includes disassembly, replace gaskets/seals, inspection and labor. I can speak to the quality of service and performance Prince Racing provides and I will say, it is second to none.
The payouts listed are based on 100 cars in each class.
www.ActionRacingPhotos.com has also added a Personalized Clock to the Box and No Box Winners and a 30x48 Poster (or $60 in other products) to the runoff winner.

My et streets are mounted to some "lovely" camaro rims. I have to say tonight's "test and tune" of them were quite nice.....after work hahaha. Here is hoping I can remember how to drag race good after not doing it for almost 3 years.
