From one Ruby owner to another I am glad your damage was not more severe considering the circumstances. Just hope you did not permanently stain that beautiful ruby leather sport seat.

John,
You shouldn't risk pissing off Santa this close to Christmas, did it have a red nose?

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

Thanks everyone.
I put an insurance claim in and am taking it to an adjuster then my body shop tomorrow. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Could have been a lot worse, I got lucky.
Found a chunk of bone in the LR tire tonight so looks like the ZR1 will be making the GC trip this weekend

I see deer so often on the PA turnpike. Good thing it wasn't a live one... that would have been scary.

I got over to the right of my lane as much as I could but hit it and ran over it with my left wheels. A few miles down the road I passed a mini van that must have hit it first as his left front was all smashed up. Fortunately I survived although my heart was beating real hard for about 10 minutes. The nose is cracked and I have deer guts all over the bottom of the car. Time to call my insurance. Good thing I have a back up Vette
Oh gosh John,Glad you are Okay!! I travel so much and see these road kills and Thank God eveyday it was not me. I am so glad you are Okay!!
