My husband's uncle has that problem - he always had that problem. Food or drink gets stuck. Something about the esphagus having pockets or something like that. I have no clue
Boy that is a horrible feeling. I hope they figure out what's wrong. Why did they do a biopsy? Did they find any abnormal cells?

I don’t know about that… A few years ago, I was diagnosed with exercise induced anaphylactic. It’s pretty rare. My doctor and 9 other specialists did MANY tests on me. (case study) one afternoon in the hospital. Conclusion, my body just changed… Prior to this, I’ve never been allergic to anything ever.
True story...it's fatal. I'm supposed to have an auto-injector with me at all times...

Its been getting progressively worse over what seems about 8 or 9 months now. At first I thought I wasn't chewing enough or eating too fast....then I realized that when fluids weren't going down right that it wasn't a chewing issue.

I have problems swallowing food.......well it used to be food...now food or drink....not all the time but getting worse. It also used to take forever to go down when it got stuck....Now at the point where it doesn't go down at all and I have to regurgitate...(you asked) They did an endoscopy this morning to see what was wrong and they didn't see anything that could be causing it. They biopsied a few things and waitin a week for the results...Next is Yale, New Haven hospital for more tests.
I'll have my fingers crossed for you that they find the cause and are able to solve the problem

That's pretty much the deal. It's very tempermental. Sometimes it doesn't bother me. Other times it happens right away. You can actually see it happening to me while it's happening. My eyes get all puffy. Kinda like if someone has food allergies and it's sever, you can see their face get all puffy...
