If you've never been, take Corvettes@Carlisle and quadruple the number of people, cars of ALL types, etc. Go here for the full schedule......................
Im actually going up Friday afternoon....depending on what time we can get out of the shop, hopefully we can get there early enough to walk around a bit.

My brother and I will be at Spring Carlisle -- putting the fully-restored '78 Indy Pace Car Edition through the Auction...then it's off to Watkins Glen to race the ZR-1 with the boys from Corvettes of Mass. (COM) racing club. We'll think of everyone while we're touring the wineries on Sunday...then it's to the track on Mon. and Tues.
It was my pleasure, John. Glad you got home alright.
My friend wound up getting a great deal on a beautiful 68 Camaro SS/RS. It got a little crazy after you left, but he bought it, got it registered on site and we drove it home.

Was it Red w/black interior and a cowl induction hood by any chance? If so, I saw you guys working the deal. Gorgeous car!!! If not, congrats anyway. Was surprised at the low number of Corvettes for sale this year. Did see a beautiful '66 427/390 Maroon coupe, loaded with options, including 4-spd, a/c, leather, headrests, power windows steering and brakes with asking price of $87k.
