I'm actually trying to steer away from runflats. I love the fact I won't get stranded with a flat but the price of them is insane and the ride is too hard.

I'd stay away from runcraps as well, though I do recommend the Michelins. They cost the most for a reason, because they are the absolute best tire out there.
Do what I did, buy a patch kit and a small compressor. You could probably order a Z06 compressor from a dealership, keep it in teh compartment in the hatch.

Well things are still bad over there, I did get a new laptop to use, but no docking station, mouse, keyboard, etc. Just the laptop and one power cord, not even a case to use. Can’t order any office supplies. They got a new cleaning service contract and cut it, now they only dump the office garbage cans twice a week.
A lot of people recognized me from almost 7 years ago when I left and were happy to see me back. At least there is hope of a future here and I am getting paid more.
Well, the run flats let you get home this time, if you did not have it you would have been stuck. People say the Michelin run flats ride nice. However no current run flat will out perform a good non-run flat.

that's a good idea - perfect way to convince hubby to get rid of the OEM's

The zo6 oem kit is a tone of $$$$, you can do better putting together your own kit. I think even the museum has one.

I have yet to find a decent small compressor, if you have any ideas, please let me know. The last one I bought couldn't even out 5 psi in my tires.
I saw Georges Z06 compressor in action, from GM Parts Direct it may not be much, but now that I think about it, I'll be headed to Contemporary Corvette on Saturday, so I may be able to get one out of a wreck, or I could ask Tommy to get one with his GM discount.
