Thank you Chrissie for sharing that! I thought it was only my plight , nice to know I'm in good company . But honestly my mom is a good hearted LOON!!
Example: our horses are former police horses so my mom bakes the police force individual cakes (from the horses to the cops) celebrating the horses bdays...insane, but the cops really love them and a few ask, "It's cake time soon isn't it??"

I only take her because she pays for lunch. No.. really she is funny and witty.. Now I know where I get it from.

She helped me when my kids were little since I was a single parent. Well both my parents did. They even bought my house for me so we didnt have to live at their house. Well turned out good from me.

Not sure what I'm going to do, hubby is going to cook breakfast for me though. He offered to take me out to breakfast, but with the way the crowds would be in the restraunt deceided I would rather just stay home and let him do it.

I don't see my mom too often as she is on the other side of the country, but I do talk to her about once a week.

It is especially around the holidays, my whole family is in CA and Hal dad is in WA. One of our sons and 5 grandchildren are in Oregon, one son and 3 grandchildren in Germany and the last son and 2 grandchildren in SC. Just got an Ecard from the kids in Germany and the one in SC called a little bit ago.
