Don't forget to pack an umbrella in the Vette before you leave. 2 years ago it rained just before the beauty contest. It cooled down to 68 and they cancelled the contest because the girls said it was too cold. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Pennsylvania.....you never check the forcast that far ahead and expect it to be RIGHT.

They just can't predict the weather around here until a couple days prior.

Wait till the middle of next week - then check the weather forcast.

Actually on the Friday of last year's show it was sunny and very hot. As many have said, the weather people have a hard time predicting a day in advance let alone a week here in the NE so checking around Wednesday should provide a bit more, not a lot, more accuracy. While many shun the forecast of rain, I'm here to tell you that Carlisle is one of the worst places to be when it rains. Not because we can't handle getting a little wet but because most all vendors are located outside and therefore cover their items with tarps or plastic or just pack them up. About the only thing left worth seeing is the stuff in the three buildings or under the tents.

Scattered Thunderstorms hide behind trees and Isolated Thunderstorms can be found in open areas.
