Default Vette Shops in Maryland?

I just moved to Maryland from California. I had most of my work done at Corvette Specialties back in Cali but now that I'm on the east coast I'm looking for some good shops that I can trust to work on my car....

I like working on it myself but unfortunately I still don't have a lift! So I can’t do everything myself just yet….

Don't know why anyone would want to move to MD from CA but welcome anyway. For routine service, best place closest to Baltimore would be Koons Chevrolet in White Marsh off I-95 North. Corvette tech there is Herb. If you don't mind a little drive, Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring in the Auto Park off RT29 south (halfway between Columbia and DC) is where I've been going for the past 9 years. Corvette tech there is Frank - excellent. Feel free to PM me for details or any other questions.

Ha lol thanks yeah my job relocated me out here. I miss California but I'm originally from Michigan so it's nice being closer to home....but man this cold weather is killin me. My poor car just sits in the garage most of the time now

Oh yeah what kind of lift do they have my car sits like 4" off the ground, not much room for driving up on most lifts

Lifts are the type with the arms that swing in under the car and they have boards as well for lowered cars but I'd call and verify first just to be sure. This is one of the key reasons I take it to the dealers - too many horror stories with just lifting the C4-C6 Corvettes let alone the service itself.

PS: Buy a heavier coat!

Welcome to Maryland. I’ve had ECS work on my car a few times. They’re definitely the guys to go to for performance work. For smaller routine maintenance type work I’ve heard that Sport Chevrolet is very good, though I’ve not been there.

ECS has swing arm type lift. I have no issues getting my road race car with coilovers on the lift and that is pretty low....

Welcome. I live in Germantown, Md. I live 15 minutes from Tony's Corvette. Great shop, but I drive 3 1/2 hrs. to ECS (East Coast Supercharging). What does that tell you? Chris, Doug, Mike and the guys do great work and are always available for advice. Some of the best tuners in the US. Just ask anyone who has been there. Great service and will help you out, very patient with people without knowledge. Good luck

Default Vette Shops in Maryland

Can attest to great service at Sport Chevrolet. They have handled routine maintenance and other work (read mod friendly dealer) since I bought the car there in 2000. Think Frank is one of the best in the area. Can also speak to ECS (see sig). I too took the 2 1/2 drive north to get the performance work done. These guys live their work and probably the best Vette performance shop on the East Coast. And, they are user friendly!! All will take the time to talk you through any questions you have. Really a class act!

Welcome to the East Coast (from an Oregon native)

Phil
