I went for a ride in a GT before, and it was insane how fast it was. It's crazy to think that this spring my car will be able to take it to one. The owner told me that he had two people break their nose on the door while trying to get out of the car. If you look at the roof you can see how the door inverts onto the roof, so when you get out and stand up it's right there in your face.

Funny story to add to this. That friend of mine who has the GT40 had shoulder surgery last year. He keeps his car at his warehouse office. He got into the car because he hadn't used it in a while. Then, he realized he couldn't lift himself to get out because of the surgery. His cell phone was on the work counter out of reach, and there was no one there to help. He was stuck in the car for over an hour before he finally was able to crawl out.
I'm sorry - someone offers me a real ford gt at a price i could afford, the vette is gone! I love my vette but a gt is a gt and it just rules and has since the sixties!
