Default Caliper Rebuild- Northeast- New York

I want to thank Mark(2003Torch) for Rebuilding my Brake Calipers today and showing me how to do a Complete Brake Job today!
Mark rebuilt my Calipers, Removed all four Rotors and Calipers and replaced them with Brand New Rotors and Freshly Painted Calipers. He then Bled the system & Re-Torqued the Lugs.(Yes, I used the Power Wrench to put them on!)

Again, Thanks Mark for the hospitality and Brake Lesson. And thanks to our resident Photographer and co-hort for taking pics, getting coffee and keeping us company!!

Post up the pics please.

I'm waiting on rotors as we speak, my spares were cracked and I didn't notice till tonight Barry, next time you're bleeding brakes, change out the bleeders on the calipers to speed bleeders. Its a one way check valve, allows fluid out and does not let air in, makes bleeding brakes an esay one man operation.

Hey George. Thanks for the tip.
Where did you order your Rotors from?

Today was a great learning experience.

Barry, NAPA Auto normally has them in stock(cheapo non slot/drilled rotors). But since I started this last night after raking leaves, they were already closed. On another note, I went to install my rear tow hook last night also. Its supposed to bolt up to the muffler bracket studs, but the'yre not long enough. So I re-read the directions and it also says that if the stock studs have never been changed out, you need to change them to the longer ones that came with the tow hooks. In order to change them, you need to remove the rear fasica and drill out the holes, easy install my ***. So for now they'll be ornaments in the garage.
.
.
Edit I just found the front rotors at Carquest for $46.00 each
