When I was there a few years ago I stayed at the Hilton , nice hotel and connects right to the Casino next door - The Canadian Dollar is cheap again .

If you like gaming/dinner/.show you might try :

http://fallsviewcasinoresort.com/about/about.aspx

Don't need a passport but if you have one bring it, or birthcertificate, to get into Canada.

Have fun.

stayed here a few years back and it was INCREDIBLE!!!!!

http://www.fallsview.com/NiagaraSher...iewHotel.shtml

They have a hot tub in the room with a direct view of the falls.. truly romantic and truly amazing!!!!

They have the festival of lights this time of year.. should be nice.. Also make sure to take the tour underneath the falls where you can walk around underneath them and behind them... dress warm!!!!

PS... no matter where you chose to stay the only and I mean ONLY hotels with a view worth anything are on the canadian side.. so if the view isnt important to you then dont bother with staying in canada.. the casino hotels should suit you just fine

If you're bringing a lady or the lady.....and she enjoys shopping, then Niagara On The Lake is a must. Short drive from the falls.

We are getting lake effect snow. Totals of 8-12 inches predicted. I am about 25 minutes away from the Seneca Nation Casino. If you are going to Fallsview Casino on the Canadian side, you should stop in at Seneca, nice Casino and great food!

Check to make sure that your car insurance is good in Canada. I knew a guy a few years back that wrapped up his BMW up in Canada and his insurance company didn't cover it because it happened outside the country.

He may have a problem getting over the border now. You need either a passport or a drivers license AND a birthcertificate. Plus sunday the Bills are playing in Toronto so all the bridges will have heavy traffic.

Bring that warm coat I mentioned,at 8:45 PM it is 19 degrees here with lite snow falling

From November through April, anything goes here in Upstate NY... today is crappy. I would have hated to see you trying to drive on the NYS Thruway in this weather (lake effect, salt, sand, etc).

Take my advice... if you are going via Corvette, go in the spring once it warms up. If it is warm out, you can take a nice walk along the falls.

Oh, and before you venture over the border, stop at the Duty Free to park. Grab a token inside the store, and then walk to Twist O the Mist for ice cream. It's a huge ice cream cone stand right across the street from Duty Free.
