You should have good brakes, good cooling system and not be scared when looking out the side window and see no road, no guard rail and a looong way down. Reminded me alittle of my drive down the mountain into Monte Carlo.

A corvette caravan up Mt. Washington ; now that would be something.

Nino, I think there are a lot of things that remind you of a lot of things and I say that only with the utmost affection. Again, for those that didn't want to take the Vette to the top and back - they have the steam train. Just another thing to think about to make it a nice weekend.

My vote would be for July 25-26, thats the only weekend that our babysitter (or should I say dogsitter) is available.

So it looks like we have some interest for July 18-19 or July 25-26. I'll start another thread in a month of so and see if we can ratchet up the interest. Right now there are 8-10 tentatives. Could be a lot of fun!

Sounds like fun-- I wonder if there are any lodges or bed/breakfast (with a bar onsite of course) that we could take over? I do that in the winter with a group for snowmobiling in Maine, makes it nice, usually you have a living room, etc to kick back in too.

July 25 and 26 are the only dates I can make unfortunately. Joanne, have you thought of cruising to Bar Harbor, Maine? Also so that you know the previous weekend in July is the national C3 get together. This year is at Mystic Seaport.

Sounds like a great trip. A group of us did that area back in 06. Three of us went to the top of Mt. Washington in our Vettes. I've actually driven up 4 times over the past 4 decades. It's an experience you will never forget if you decide to drive up and I'd do it again. I won't hurt your car.

SWEET! Great Pictures Walt!!! I think it would be a blast (of course, I'm not the one buffing and waxing etc). I'll start investigating lodging options - I do like the B&B takeover idea however I am trying to keep it reasonable given todays economy...

Nothing is ruled out yet! Bar Harbor is one long a*s trip for a weekend but it sure would be beautiful to cruise through Acadia National Park just picture it.......so many places, so little time!

Thanks for the heads-up re: Mystic Joaquin - sounds like July 25th - 26th would be our best bet for dates probably. If anyone else has ideas on lodging let's hear about it.

On the same trip we went to Bar Harbor also. Here's 2 pics of Arcadia Park and from the top of Cadillac Mt. looking toward Nova Scotia.
