Guess it was good to stay away yeterday. I hope this isn't a repost. Sorry if it is.

Not much Al. Cars running great. Put in a DeWitts radiator with dual fans. Been busy this summer. Found out I'm going to be a Grampa in January. Life is good. I'll meet up with you guys at Bellmore in a couple of weeks.

You have got to be crazy to do triple digits on the Ocean Parkway on a sunny warm summer sunday. The parkway is loaded with families on their way to the beach, kids are crossing the road from the communities on the bay side to get to the ocean, and it has been a fairly well known fact that the State Police and State Park Police have been doing enforcement along that road on sunday mornings for at least a year or two now.
I use to say that I wish there were a ticket that could be written for stupidity with a penalty of automatic revocation of driving privledges for a period of time until the driver develops some common sense.

Not the best road to blast on. Certain sections have pretty big woops in them.....airborn!!!! besides its just plain risky to everyone.

What's your point ? They shouldn't give tickets to speeders ? How long do you have to realize that there are police out at that time . I don't get it .

Point is I just want everyone to stay safe. Simple as that! Thats the most important point. The next is that if you're going to speed be advised that L.E. is out there and targeting this area!

I didn't mean to be rude with my comment , I just thought the police were doing their jobs .The fact that some people have to get on it , and you know the urge , is part of the scene . But you know the place is crawling with police . I guess it just shows the "need for speed " By the way , I have to admit I got a ticket two years ago there , I was going 80 , cop was nice and gave me ticket for 65 , which I plead down . Since then , I've been better .

Not a problem. Yes the police were just doing their jobs. People have to realize that if you wanna play you gotta be ready to pay, LOL. If people didn't have the urge to get on it they'd all be driving a Prius, LOL.

There's a time and place for everything.
Ocean parkway on Sunday morning IS NOT the time or the place to be speeding.
