Good Morning from Northern Westchester County, NY
All I heard all night was the crackling of timber I have never been so afraid of trees!!! I didnt measure but Im guesstimating at least 14+ .....Power keeps flickering on and off too
Looks like the worst of it went north this time, where it belongs!
It's been snowing here for 24 hours and yet we only have about 3 or 4 inches. With the way the wind has been blowing it around, it's a little hard to tell exactly how much.
We've already had about 55 inches this year, I'm glad it's someone else's turn, this time.
Well glad I shoveled some of the slush yesterday; today there was a foot of powder on top of maybe 3-4" of slush that fell after I had cleaned it yesterday.
But at least the streets are pretty clear so I could take the Camaro out...
I'd estimate about 9 or 10 inches on the ground when I went out with the snowblower at 8:00 AM. It's been flurrying since then, but no additional accumulation.
I'm hoping it keeps melting as it hits the ground.
Well, at least it was a good time to get things done. The main roads are completely clear. I had to get more gas for the snowblower, then ran my wife over to DMV to renew her license (no line at all), and we did a little shopping on the way home.
The day isn't a complete waste.
It's been in Dad's garage since Thanksgiving. At least when I stored it here last winter at a rental garage, I could visit from time to time. I haven't seen my Vette since November 28th!
