I want to thank John for totally renovating my kitchen this past summer. It all started back in April, when I had to fire the contractor who originally started my kitchen. They were not performing like they said they would.
I made a call to John and he came up to my house, over an hour away and gave me an estimate on the cost of the project, we agreed on the price and John had my kitchen done in six days. He found errors that the previous contractor did not even think of in the layout of the kitchen and adjusted his plan to make the kitchen turn out great.
John showed up on time, did more work then he needed to and my kitchen turned out better then expected. If anyone on the forum needs any home improvements done at their house that is out of their realm, John can certainly meet your needs.
Again, John...Thank You for the great job
Here are the before and after pics.
and the new
John also did work at my parents house and they are thrilled on how their new front doors and living room picture window turned out.
What happened to the loaf of homemade bread that was in the first pic? John is a stand up guy, I'm not surprised that he finished on time and within budget.
John does great work, and a breeze to work with compared to some contractors. John's done a couple complete room renovations at our house, the latest being our family room.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you should know: As time goes by, you will realize with ever greater clarity the egregious error you have made by removing the faux brick. Anyone who knows anything about classic kitchens will tell you that you have dramatically reduced the value of your home, AND foregone the meteoric increase in the value of your home that is virtually assured with classicly styled period pieces in their originally installed state like that. Your error in judgement is similar to giving away a '69 ZR1 convertible to your brother-in-law in 1973 because you didn't feel like buying the gas for it.
