Default Thanks

Wanted to thank Eppieguy for telling me about Royal Chevrolet in Bridgewater.

I had asked on forum for recommendations for a good dealership in my area of NJ.

Went to them for some PM. Oil Change, trans gear oil change and serpentine belts. For now its worth it to me to pay the dealership prices to have some types of work done I have no garage, or jacks etc. More importantly I wanted to check them out in case I ever needed other more critical work done. I was also looking for a shop with experience working with corvettes; and taking care of them while servicing.

My experience was very positive. Everyone was friendly, this is a large dealership shop with maybe 10 to 12 lifts. The shop was very clean, and well lit. There happened to be two other Corvettes already on lifts.

I was in and out in less than two hours. Interesting that the shop order form had hand written in large writing: lifting pucks used.

Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

So thanks again Eppieguy and to this forum.

I'm glad it worked out for you, I have been friends with the owner for many years, family owned dealership, they treat everybody very well there and have top notch mechanics that care.

I've had previous vettes serviced there and now that I am back in a JSB coupe - that is where I will be going for warranty work.

I have always had positive results.

Royal's service department has always been great. But the sales department is another thing. I bought my Vette from them and my salesperson was an idiot. Now every time go in they tell me that he is my salesperson and try to shaft me with him. I never go in any more 'cause I do not want to deal with him.

This is good to know since they are close to me. I wish i can say the same about Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura service department, but they suck and I will no longer be going there.

Things like this should all be in the Transaction feedback section of the forum, with dealers and shops we've had good experience with. You can use this as a guide to avoid mistakes and problems with shops before they happen. This sure would have helped me , but that's water under the bridge now. At least Eppieguy has informed members in that area of a competant, "safe" place to bring their cars.
