Spring Cruise
If anyone in the local MD,WV,VA,PA region is interested, I'm planning our first cruise of the season. It will be on Saturday April 21st. We will be meeting at 9:00 am at the Wolf's Furniture parking lot at the Hagerstown Outlets.
We will be visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial. Before going to the memorial, we will stop by Kings Family Restaurant in Somerset for lunch.
Our group consists of Vettes, Mustangs, and a Hellcat. Most drivers are joined by their spouses so feel free to bring them or a friend along.
We'll be taking a scenic route through Western MD on Rt. 68 and 219.

I live right by the Flight 93 Memorial. I could meet up with you guys and have lunch and go to the memorial with you all. What time are you planning on getting to Kings?
There's not a ton of parking at Kings, and I advise parking in the back.

We should be arriving at Kings around 11:30. The plan is to leave Hagerstown by 9:30. Thanks for the parking tip! The travel route out there has changed some. Another member who's familiar with that area has picked a route that will take us over some scenic mountain roads.

Yeah Hockey it really is a great time, you'll enjoy it. I've organized several trips with this group last year and everyone is very awesome to be around. As you can see from the mix of cars that join us, it's just a group of people that love cars and being around others that do too.

Just keep an eye on the weather. Should be okay, but the mountains, and Somerset, still gets snow that time of year. I'm rooting for warm and sunny.

Yeah April can be tricky with the weather. We've been very lucky so far with all our previous cruises. I'm rooting for 75 and sunny too!

Hey eddie-d, great to have you along. We've done a trip to Gettysburg in the past and had a lot of fun. Great scenery and plenty of things to do up that way.

Only 12 days out. Just a reminder for those attending and for those who haven't seen the post yet. Always a great time with this group. Praying for sunshine and 70's

The fall cruises were fun, and I'm looking forward to this spring cruise! (perhaps followed by the 37th Annual Stanley Schetrompf Classic dirt track race at Hagerstown Speedway, which has a history of getting rained out...)

Hey Jim,
Thanks for posting some of the previous videos/photos of our trips. For those who haven't joined us or are still thinking about going, they're a great glimpse into how much fun these cruises are.

Thanks again for a great day out! Some footage of the trip is below. As folks discussed being in the market for aftermarket exhaust systems, I included a clip of my bi-mode ("NPP") exhaust at low RPM under load with the flaps open and then closed to demonstrate drone and mitigation (many systems have the former without the latter, so choose carefully!).

Thanks for the advice on the exhaust and posting another great video. We definitely enjoy having you along. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the next cruise.
