What’s your experience with having a local dealer service a Vette purchased elsewhere? Any Long Island dealers offering truly exceptional service?

I have had my Corvette serviced at Chevrolet dealership personnel in both FL and AZ. I didn’t buy the car from either of them. The dealership is either a Chevrolet dealership or they are not. If their techs are good you shouldn’t have any problems.

Some dealers refuse to work on it if you didn't buy from them. I've seen this reported primarily on NY dealers.
Personally, I've had no problems getting mine serviced locally even though I bought out of state.

I am very lucky to have Bryner Chevy as my closest car dealership, they are in Jenkintown PA, they do not care if you purchased your Vette or any other GM car or truck at any other dealership, they are happy to work on it, and maybe the best Vette service on the east coast, one person will work on your Vette, the same guy who has been doing it for the last 25 years, he does it right.

My last two Vettes came from out of my area. (northern NY) No problems, got treated right. As my service manager told me all departments of the dealership have to make a profit, I would be a fool to turn away business.
