What do you do with a black bear?
The state of CT has more black bears every day! The DEP says you can not hurt them what is the best way to keep them off a residental property? They have now have become peeping TOMS!

I live in black bear territory (upper NY State). About the only legal thing you can do is make sure they cannot find food on your land and your neighbors . Bird feeders are a big one. Feeding your pets outside (if you do) has to stop. I do not know the laws about fireworks in your state, but that can help.

You need to get a can of peas, a shovel, and a bucket of ash.
Find a trail they use and use the shovel to dig a hole 🕳. Dump the ash into it. Open the can of peas and place them around the hole.
Then hide. When the bear comes by and stops to take a pea, kick him in the ash.

You should mark your territory and do it now! This is very bold move by a so called animal and not human. If it was human you would already have a dog and some explosives moves to correct this problem! Do it now post no Trespassing signs.
