This is / was the only clam bar I know of in Smithtown on 25A it was called Nick's opened in 1969 changed hands a few times but think it was always called nick's recently closed. Outdoor seating / picknick table style to the left of the building ???? ????

Go a few 911 buddies and I are looking to go to some local spots in Nassau County. Anything happening this weekend? I know Smithtown always has a nice turn out.
Burger City Monday nights, 5.30pm ish to 7.30, small gathering, but fun. Mostly CORE friends,.
Tuesday Mount Carmel church, N Ocean Av, Patchogue - huge 4pm to ///
Wednesday - The shops at East Wind, Wading Rive - huge 4pm to ///
Thursdays = Kings Park, Indian Head road, Oakdale, Montauk Hwy Wendys parking lot east end 4pm to ..
Friday Bellmore Train station 4 pm to // Saturday - (bagels ) Farmingdale, Airport Plaza by Stu Lenard's 8,30 am to 11 ish all corvette. .usually 20 to 40 ...... McDonalds Sunrise Hwy West Islip. North Babylon 4pm to dark
Sunday Smithtown Mall 8 am to 11 am
The meets are winding down due to the end of the season.

I just came back today Sunday 9/28/25 from a cruise and lunch with my CORE friends. 30+ corvettes and 60 for lunch after a Ferry trip to see Long Island Light houses.

just show up at Bagels , it's every Sat morning 8:30am to 10:30 ish. When the weather gets bad bring the daily driver. Also now some members / friends are going to FL for the winter...
I have a few cars so my C8 is not always there. I'm also NCRS so every once in a while I don't make it. If I'm not there just ask for John D.
Larry. Usually have my Red 71 or the C8.
our summer wine trip, it cost us about $15 per car If I remember right.
It's about making friends, including the other half and driving the cars..

During the warm months we usually try to do one trip per month.
Cool Months, Sometimes we do a mid week food run meet up , then drive out east for a lunch/brunch.
Too much work involved & the club members as they age don't want to bother. IT AIN'T AN EASY TASK TO PULL OFF !!!! People still talk about those shows as being the best they attended on the Island.
NOT TRUE john.. we did NOT pull out of doing the shows... That was totally up to Mr. Balavia... We always worked with you and chris on them... You are 100% correct that they are not an easy task to do tho... hope all is well...

I Didn't say that the club ( members ) pulled out at all. That's the feeling from what I have been told about doing shows NOW !! They prefer short, quick cars & coffees !!
( gatherings not all day judged shows ) Most of the sales people and managers complained too !!

Yup.. that be me... nah we'd still do the all day shows but next to impossible to get the same support we had when we the Arnold shows... We did have some great shows though... miss them actually.. just bought a blk 69 from a club member to go with my 2013 gs...
