Default Splitting the Northeast Section.

Since the northeast section encompasses such a large population, how about creating a New England section? ME NH VT MA RI

Won't happen, has been discussed in the past many many times.

Now is different than the last time. First there are a lot more members.
Look at the amount of events being posted, it's getting harder to navigate between the ones that are close enough to consider doing.

IF they'd do it, I'd like to see a NJ, DE and PA section created :yesnod:

It would certainly have my vote. Much of what is discussed is irrelevant to me because it is too far away.

I don't understand why? The reason it's been discussed so many many times in the past is because of the overwhelming demand for it.
What's the harm of one more section to make it easer for everybody?

The last time this was brought up the demand for it was huuuuge, but none of the Administrators cared enough to do it. <shrugs> I really don't understand why, it makes zero sense to leave it this way. I don't see many people from ME wanting to drive to PA to do stuff.

Last time I checked CT is one of the "New England" states.

At any rate, It would be easier if I could look at one forum instead of two since I would/do attend both NY/NJ events as well as some events in MA and RI.

As a side note, CT. is unique in that a majority of the people living north of rt 84 and east of rt. 9 are Red Sox fans (including me) while the rest of the state are Yankmee fans.

Hmmm........not really sure on the point I'm trying to make there. I guess if I does get divided CT is the state which could go either way.

I would agree with that if people didnt just use titles like " Who's going to Mark's tonight" While that is a valid question, it lacks any geographical info. How about a Mid Atlantic section that is NJ, PA, DE, MD for example. Or make sure you put the state in your title of any thread? But then it would be up to the mods to enforce that rather than just creating another section and being done with it.

Putting ME NH VT MA RI CT in a seperate New England section gets my vote. Makes sense.

Most New England guys hardly post here, I see more NE activities posted in Off Topic than anywhere else.

I can pass the word along, but I seriously doubt it will happen.
