thanks for the offer scorp. i determined that the problem is bad injectors so i went out today and purchased some ford motor sport/bosch injectors today. tomorrow ill pop off the fuel rail replace the injectors, change the oil, and get her running again
its all better now. i installed the new injectors tonight and it runs perfectly. in fact the bad injector was causing the high RPM miss that i have been trying to track down. :D . now she goes like a bat out of hell. so long story short i am in for sun :seeya
Well it it is official now. This weekend of racing has been cancelled as announced at http://www.newenglanddragway.com
At this time I would like to say a big "F" You to mother nature.
On the brighter side of things, noone will have to see this damage.
I know the photo is not the best of quality but you can see the "blemish" towards the bottom of the pic.
I did this out of pure stupidity, I had a complete brain fart. I went to get the vette out the trailer, battery was flat dead. I sat in the driver's seat, stuck my foot out the door and did a Fred Flintstone. Car got some momentum going, driver's side door, wide open and I peak over my right shoulder then to the left, and the door was about an inch away from hitting the lip on the ramp door of the trailer. I jumped on the brakes, they didn't respond as well without power, tires locked briefly, then CRUNCH!!! Then followed by many, many, many choice words. It was noone's fault but my own, and I can only blame myself.
