This may be a :_dupe: , and if so, I apologize - I'm wondering if anyone's planning a trip to the track when it first opens?? It's been a few years since I've been up there, and am dying to get back!! It'd be cool if a few local members could hook up!!
i was planning to head up there when it first opens. i like to go on either wed or friday night because i work on the weekends. i usually head up with a kid that owns a 00 trans am let me know if your still intreasted
I'm going up there Sunday for the test and tune. Sunday test and tunes, you get more runs and the track is prepped as there are also 7-10 second cars running too. Not very much rice there.
Yeah 98 viper GTS. Pretty well modded. Question though do people bring tools and the like with them. If I break I do not want to be stranded.IE Half shafts.

i thought that the stock half shafts were pretty strong. because last year there was a twin turbo viper from main up there running slicks he didn't seem to have a problem withe them. but to answer your question: the only tool that i bring with me is my AAA (100 free miles towing) card. but if you are realy concerned about breaking you could rent a trailer from u-haul (providing that you have the truck too tow it with.
Half shafts are a big problem. Even though mine are upgraded. I am in the 700rwhp range.
The tires wont even fit on a uhaul trailer 345/30/19's.never mind the departure ramps on those things.
Guess I will have to bring the towing card too. :yesnod:
