Re: N.E. Dragway - Spring run?? (Dolph)
Half shafts are a big problem. Even though mine are upgraded. I am in the 700rwhp range.
The tires wont even fit on a uhaul trailer 345/30/19's.never mind the departure ramps on those things.
Guess I will have to bring the towing card too. :yesnod:
There are a couple of forum guys that tow their cars up there with a full compliment of tools, and most folks in the pits are pretty friendly and would lend a hand if needed. Still bring the card and a basic set though.. JUST in case :).. I may head up there on sunday, probably won't run as the 77 won't be ready but I'll spectate.
Question though do people bring tools and the like with them. If I break I do not want to be stranded.IE Half shafts.
I usually bring some. How many are required to yank the shafts on a snake? Anything special or just a jack and some hand tools? I know I'd need a suspension fork and a couple other things for mine.

700 ponies to the wheels that snake sounds like it is  .
Sunday sounds like a good deal. It's really hard for me to get out of work in time for a weekday evening run, whereas Sundays should offer lots of runs on a good, prepped track. I'll most likely be there on Sunday, weather permitting...

I've got some tools, a tire repair kit and a microwave in my trailer. If anyone here needs anything let me know.
In a worse possible scenario if someone's car should become disabled we can work something out.
