There is no more interesting place in D.C. to make coffee for important folks than the White House. It's coming up to the season for them to accept applications.
have you tried posting your resume on www.monster.com or careerbuilder.com. i know quite a few people who have found internships and jobs going through that site, especially since you are looking for a job in new york and DC. Just a note, your resume looks good however i would include your college gpa if you dont already. and condense it into one page, no one wants to see a staple. your professors must have contacts with alumni to the media/tv industry. try getting in touch with them to help you in your search. how about your school, does it have a comprehensive career center?
I wish you lots of luck. Every person deserves a chance. It's hard with so many people out of work and so many college people looking for jobs and careers.
I'm going to sound like a father now and bust your chops. Sorry but I would like to see you get ahead.
Check your spelling and your English. Double check your punctuation. You have to get to the top of the candidates. Sorry for the unwanted advice but I want you to get ahead of everyone else.
