Default Ventureshield Installer

I'm looking to do a long road trip in the Z06 this summer with my son, probably close to the midpoint of our country. I'll be a lot more relaxed if I have protection for the leading edges of the car and am therefore looking at having Ventureshield installed.

I understand that the installer can be critical for a good outcome so I'm asking for recommendations from you folks. I live in the Sonora area of the Sierra foothills so I doubt that there's anyone real close to me- if there is that'd be great. Ideally, if I have to travel, I'd like someone in the San Jose/Fremont areas since I have friends I can see when I make the trip for the install. I'd be willing to go to Sacramento or Modesto areas if needed. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Les,
Not sure what Ventureshield is but I assume that it is a type of clear bra. If that is the case I would call "Invisiguard" Jeremy he is on this forum and is a clear bra installer.

We have a Venture Shield installer we use exclusively close to our shop. He has done a couple of dozen Corvettes for us. He has done a lot for the local chevy dealer down the block from us, including 2 ZR1's. This guy is super meticulous. Call me or pm me and I will give you his business and phone number.
Thanks
Terry

I am not sure what Jeremy uses however I can tell you that he is great and takes his time to make sure that everything comes out right.

I have used him on my C6 twice. The first time was the normal 1/3 hood and fender back in 2006 when I first purchased my C6, then the 2nd time when they came out with the full hood and fender clear bra. He spent a lot of time on it to make sure that it is correct.

Jeremy may even come out to your place, just call him and find out.

PS, Jeremy also does a lot of high end cars for dealers.

Jeremy came out to my house and did a great job on my Z06. Highly recommend him. As stated, he is an Invisiguard installer.

Thanks guys. Does anybody know the difference between the materials for Venture Shield vs. Invisiguard? It sounds like both installers have strong recommendations so the difference could come down to the materials used.

Morzoff,
Thanks, I plan to do that. I was hoping that somebody might have some unbiased info for me before I call them. Would you happen to have a phone number handy for Jeremy?

Morzoff,
Did you have any luck reaching Jeremy? I'm holding off on calling the Venture Shield installer so I can talk to both on the same day. Thanks.

Les, if you haven't done it yet, these are the guys to call. www.premiermobilegroup.com The Porsche and Ferrari crowd I run with on weekends all swear by them and I have used them on more than a few occasions with outstanding results. Only thing is they will be more expensive, but I always say you get what you pay for.

I've used Premier as well with very positive results. They've done 4 cars that I've sold and 3 cars that I currently have. By far the best I've seen on cars especially when you get the whole nose done in one piece. I would look into these guys, but they cost a little more though, but imo, you get what you pay for.

Premier does great work, check out the tint job they did for me.When I installed the hardware for the back window per the owners instructions the tint film shifted causing it to lift,it ruined the whole tint job.I called the owner and was told basically pi$$ off,you want it redone it will cost you.If you look at this picture you can see small blisters in the film.[IMG][/IMG]

I'm trying to understand your post. You were happy with the tint job that Premier did to your window. You damaged it installing the window hardware and now you are upset that they won't redo it for free?
