O7 C6 engine blew
My first and only new car which I personally ordered and waited for three months to be delivered has a blown engine. I have not been to a HPDE in over a year and a half. Only used for weekends and take girl out to dinner. 30K mi.
Car stared making metallic knock and missing real bad.
Chevy in Gilroy has motor apart and tell me a lifter came apart and pieces of metal in oil. Chevy rep. wants motor removed and torn down and cam removed for further inspection. Not good.
This outcome will be sure interesting.

Boy, do I know how you feel ...
My 2006 C6 is in the shop for a stuck lifter 20K+ miles ... . It's at Synergy being worked on. Machine issue with the block perhaps ...
I'd be interested to hear the cause for the failure on yours.

yep.
Got an 07 with 50K that has developed a horrible scraping sound right inside the head, it def sounds like its coming from a valve/rocker/lifter. taking it apart tmr, hopefully its just a bad valve. I'll update too, G'luck
