Default Picked up a new car this weekend

They say the happiest day in boat ownership is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. I guess I have to agree now. I just traded off the boat and truck and got this. It is a blast to drive.

I wish it was a SL55, but it's not. It's a 2003 SL500 in brilliant silver with the sport package including AMG moldings from the factory. Only has 32,000 miles on the car.

The wife got mad at me cause I took it to the airport for the week long trip a day after getting the car rather then leaving it at home with her.

Didn't you have a Sonic!?

I had no idea you could trade in boats.

I did. I didn't know you could either, but apparently you can.

Hmm, I was thinking aftermarket wheels would look nicer, 'deep dish' silver with polished lip...

I'm thinking HREs... nice.

The new SL is one of the top 3 or 4 most gorgeous current designs out there right now. Perfectly proportioned.

Actually those are not stock rims. Thay are 20" rims from Carlsson fitted with 305's in the rear. They have some curb rash that I plan to havew taken care of and plan to have the lips polished the same time.

That is the only convertible I have ever seen that looks as good with the top up as it does with the top down.

Sweet Ride!
