Im getting the premium version. it includes BOSE 11 speaker audio system with media card reader and 9 Gig HDD, Heated seats and side curtain air bags for 71,900K
the only other option besides the all season dunlop tires is the silver color
that silver shown at LA show car is going to be about $1500-2000 extra. its 5 coats of paint hand polished and double cleared.
preorders start january 1st
12,000 will be produced globally 1000 per month because the engines are hand assembled. US share of that isnt finalized from what im hearing but i expect as low as 1500 to as many as 2400 for the first year

If you did, then why did you post a STI? And sorry but you can get the EVO previous body style for what I said. They still have them at dealers.

Please keep us informed about your purchase process and your ownership experience.
Don't get me wrong,
I LOVE the GTR and I think it would make the ULTIMATE daily driver in cold and wet climates.
I just wish it has a base MSRP of $50k so I could justify the purchase.
I also wish it had 4 doors so I could justify the weight.

1/4 is 11.7 seconds
(done at nissan testing facility in AZ in 110 heat this summer)
watch this for a very cool demo of the multi function display screen

The GTR club had a small meet in LA yesterday and Nissan unexpectedly showed up in two US Spec R35 GTRs...

So, does the GTR come in two colors (black, and silver) only? because the red one posted above looks sick, and I wanted to know if that red is a production color?

Super Black
Vibrant Red
Pearl White
Titanium Grey
Dark Metal Grey
Ultimate Metal Silver
Those are the official launch colors....Nissan will likely add new colors as time goes on.

Is the GTR an auto tranny with padddles (ala A6) or a manual with clutch and stick with paddles also? The more I see that front end, the more I think there soon will be aftermarket front end alternatives.

But, the GTR is no C6 ZO6 "killer".
The ZO6 will SMOKE a GTR......
especially on a race track with good rubber.

Well, it might not be a killer, but IF "0-60 is 3.5, 1/4 is 11.7 seconds
(done at nissan testing facility in AZ in 110 heat this summer)" is true, then I dont see any smoking from the Z06.

Le Mans Master
I'm always looking for something better & have a small deposit for the first GTR my local dealer gets. If the purported performance figures pan out as accurate,my Z06 will be relegated as a daily driver by the Nissan.

According to reports it already has "smoked" the Z06's time at the Nurburguring by 5 seconds.......
As much as I hope those "reports" are true,
I would take everything we hear about the GTR's performance with a grain of salt until we see independent results by magazines and owners.

I found your intentions to be interesting because I always thought that the GTR would be the ULTIMATE daily driver (AWD, Auto, OEM forced induction) and the ZO6 was one of the best track options available today. (BIG power N/A, chassis, brakes, tire options)
