(FS) 1989 Merkur XR4Ti w/7,900 original miles
My friend Ray is selling his 1989 Merkur XR4Ti that he purchased brand new. It has 7,900 miles. Yes, seven thousand nine hundred original miles.
You'd be hard pressed to find a lower mileage one owner XR4 Ti.
It's literally in showroom condition. Rosso Red exterior with black leather interior. Heated seats, moonroof & 5 speed manual trans.
Always garage kept and has never been out in the rain or snow.
Never crashed, hit or molested.
Factory shop manual, window sticker and brochure with car.
Serious inquires only please. $13,900.

Dang, you can get a nice 1994 C4 Corvette with 300 HP on tap for that price. You'd really have to be nuts about the XR to pay that much. I drove one in 97 and although it was peppy, my 1989 Mazda MX6 GT Turbo (The car I eventually bought) felt a lot quicker.
Still, I wish your friend the best of luck!

It's not "the" car for everybody, but it's an excellent XR4Ti if you're looking for one.

Nice clean example...... Im sure its gonna take a collector or enthusiast that is into those cars to buy it. That sure is low miles for a near 20 year old car. Looks like a really nice fox body GT he has as well.

Basically it's a brand new car for half price.

Very cool! I always liked that car when I was young--it caused quite the stir when it first came out.
Nice of all the bashers to show up on your for sale post...
Good luck with the sale.
