It is an R8.

I think the back of the car is the nicest part of it. Looks like a spaceship in the front, or something. It's not a bad thing, interesting but still not sure how I feel about it.

Here is a really nice one in my area that I tend to see driving around a lot.

More people here would recognize it if you took a picture of the front of the Audi and posted it in a rear view mirror sized picture.

I just can't believe that there are people into cars enough to be on Corvetteforum, who clearly have the internet, that don't know what an R8 is.

May have seen magazine pics or ads , but this is the very first i've seen on the road here in eastern Pa. Believe me , They are not all that common here. Don't see many Lambo's Ferraris or other models either. So believe it !
This is not California.

I used to live in Fair Oaks (~20 min out the Ohio River Blvd from Pittsburgh), PA. Just because you haven't seen one in person has nothing to do with not knowing what one is.

There's been an exotic car get together in Carlsbad for years now - Lambos, Ferraris, Panteras, Etc.

But I see loads of Ferraris every week when I drive by what appears to be a prep area for them. A8s are not as common, but Audis are not very common in general. Maybe their horrid past has hurt sales.
