That is true. We both know it haha but yet he's bothered by it

That same Supra now has a single turbo upgrade and is making ~475hp with no fuel injector or ecu mods at near full oem weight (3400lbs) and now gives the average c6z06 a decent run for its money.
Just in case there was anymore doubt about the road racing capabilities of the Supra, below are some videos of that above supra with street tires on track with a number of vettes from the SoCal Corvette Challenge in the advanced group. While underpowered, overweight and out-tired compared to much of its competition, as mentioned, the supra certainly holds its own. I'm sure the outcome would have been different if the supra bumped up the horsepower (which it could easily and reliably do) and/or got race tires like much of its competition.

Ls2Alex, please forward these videos to your friend with the Supra.

Where did the atomic orange vette go? (atomic orange c6z06 and silver c6)

Man I enjoyed a spirited drive in the C5 this weekend around some twisty roads. Took the targa off, cranked up the music and just enjoyed some highway cruising also. I recommend everyone in this thread do the same. Appreciate YOUR car, Corvette, Supra or otherwise. In the end, it's really not worth trying to convince some guys you don't know on the interwebs to like your car if they don't. I've argued the point on both forums and a few people like both cars but most are only nutswingers.

The weather is great here in DFW and hopefully for you guys too. Go drive your cars guys. This thread is getting lametastic.
