That looks like a E30 to me. E36 3-series were '93-99 IIRC, and the M3 was only '95-99. I really love both E30 and E36s, and personally agree I'd take one w/ the stock motor (4cyl in E30, 6cyl in E36). Just because you can put a LS1 in anything these days, doesn't mean you should. I absolutely wouldn't say it was destroyed though.

I was surprised that the LS1 only added 50lbs to the front of the car. I would love to have an E30 M3 or and E28 M5.
