Now I'm having 10x the fun in my 05 (C6) A4 (ran a best of 11.98 @ 117 mph)....I could have gotten a stick car, but I drag race at the track a lot, & consistency is 90% of winning..so it was an A4 for me (GREAT DECISION) I miss the stick car, but still love my A4...

A-4 with 3.15's?
Still have the 88 GT 5.0 24 years later but with 3.55's. Other than that along with silicone hoses, heavy duty clutch fan, 3 row radiator, Edelbrock Victor waterpump, Crane timing chain and synthetic fluids it's all factory stock.

I'm 100% a Chevy man (except for Lamborghini's) that being said, I actually liked my 87 LX 5.0 as much as my 97 6 speed Camaro... once I got into Vetts's.. ..wellllll there is no comparison...

I'd almost keep my C6 before keeping the wife

I don't restrict myself by different makes of cars.
Really well my 88 5.0 lasted longer than my marriage including the divorce to be final.
My best friend had ordered a stripped 88 5.0 LX no air cond., no power windows or locks and got it out the door just under $10,000. He didn't have any problems with it and put about 108,000 on it and said it was the best car he ever owned.

Nice. The 5.0 is a great car, and you dressed it well.

Yes, much cheaper to make them go fast, and with a little Steeda suspension and other options, can run road races easily with a Corvette! But, I doubt they want to hear that here! BUT Corvettes are sexier!

I've been looking into different FI options but I haven't decided on anything yet and if I did it wouldn't be for atleast a year. People are putting up great numbers for very reasonable prices.

I do have my suspension fully modded and it hooks up really nice now. The reason I wanted to get a corvette isn't because the Mustang is slow, I just like the way Corvettes look lol

Great looking 5.0! Nearly identical to mine. Im like you and am a fan of all types of cars. Although my 5.0 isnt the fastest car Ive ever owned it is however my favorite.

5.0 will make for a better daily driver than Corvette.

Nice looking Mustang. Test drove a 2013 5.0 a few weeks ago, has great pickup. Considering one of these cars if I can't get my plan for a modded C5 and daily driver to come to fruition.

Nice car. I've always wanted a triple black Mustang GT convertible. Love the Vette 'vert, have had one & enjoyed the heck out of it, but I need 4 seats and the Mustang fits that bill.

Ahh, someday...
