The day before I planned to call my friend to show him my new 2013 Grand Sport he called to tell me he bought a new car.
He is a serious car guy, so I figured he bought some Porsche Turbo or Aston Martin. Instead he drives over in a silver 4 door sedan . . . a Tesla (S Model). For those not familiar this is a fully electric vehicle. Tells me it is now his favorite car and one of the fastest cars he's owned.
His car is the top model and is 400 hp, 5000 lbs, $108k, and rides on 21 " wheels.
Think I can take him in my C6 ?Craig

For those saying it's overpriced, look at the other vehicles it competes with... It is priced accordingly to the class it is in. These run low to mid 12s stock consistently, not everyone knows how to shift the gears efficiently so in a 1/4 mile race the Tesla will either beat you, or be consistently at your rear bumper if you can bang through the gears properly (Does not apply to Z06/ZR1)

When I win the lottery I'm buying myself a 43' Winnebago with a trailer for Red, and for my girlfriend an 85kWh Tesla S. That's the ultimate soccer-mommobile, and every bit as beautifully engineered as the C6.
