WTF is your point with all of this? That you should be deterred from a car because gay people drive it? Same as you should be deterred from Corvettes because old people, hicks and bigots (likely all applicable to you) own them? I am comfortable enough with my sexuality that I wouldn't feel insecure driving a car that gay people owned. According to your links it looks like you frequent gay blogs and publications, maybe you are having identity issues of your own.

Mind you I haven't called you any names but you are doing a great job all by yourself. Please buy the BMW, the Corvette does not deserve you.

You're not going to believe this, I just drove through West Hollywood on my lunch break and plastered up on the bus stop was a c7 corvette ad. A mere 10 feet away from a rainbow crosswalk, alert the press!

Just sold my E92 M3 yesterday. Was contemplating holding it and waiting until the M4 came out. At first blush, there is just way too much going on in the front end for my taste. The hoodline is just awful as well. The FI and 6 cylinder does not matter at all to me.
Big BMW fan here (but not a homo, much to the chagrin of HHZ06) but just not feeling their recent stuff.
Buying a 2010 GTR instead.

Great looking car, but whats the price. I'm guessing $80K-90K. Thats alot of money for a 4 seater BMW coupe based on the yuppie 3 series? And a car that will get mixed in with Monday morning commuters.
I'll stick with my 2LT/Z51/MSRC C7 for $60K. Not only is it faster & looks better. The last thing I'll have to worry about is it looking like a commuter car with an added body kit. I already have a commuter vehicle parked in my garage, so I want my sports car look as far opposite of that as possible. And it should be a head snapping, double take looking, thumbs up, lil kid pointing, camera snapping exotic coupe that only has room for me and the pretty lady sitting next to me. I want my sports car to be something that everyone notices when it rolls down the street and has DC tourists asking if they can take a picture beside it. The M4 costs much more money and still does none of that.
For those that dont want that kinda attention, need the back seat and have atleast $80K to burn.. Then by all means.. spend more money for M4 and knock yourself out.

I was in the same situation, years ago before I bought my C5 (2001). I looked at the upcoming M3 and thought about getting it, instead. One say as I was sitting on the outdoor patio at Rubios, I noticed that every 10th car driving down the street was a 3-series BMW that looked very similar to an M3. That's somewhat similar to having a CTS-V in a sea of CTSs.

///M4 to come before I make my final decision. Time will tell.
And, I agree - I hate the hood line too. But, I have seen a lot more photos of the car now.
And, it appears that the line is on purpose to allow more air in at the top of the headlamp.
Either way, I still think it looks like

P.S. my car is a non z51 model, the z51's do not accelerate any faster than the "base" c7, they are just better equipped for hardcore track use.
