Thanks for the props guys!
I feel the Z06 is faster, the tq is just instant... I do not know what hp the porsche makes to the wheel, but its def lower then my Z.
The feeling of when the turbos kick in is just amazing... Feels like it knocks you back into the seat like a split second after you hit the gas pedal. This is my first TT car, so i am def loving it!!!

As far as handling, this thing is all over the road. Not very steady or smooth. And the suspension is wickedly stiff. There is no give at all. Im sure it would be beneficial at the track, but not for streets with rough pavement (as such in MN).
Interior is tight. You have to be less then 6' tall to fit. no bigger then 200lbs as well. Those seats are like race seats, i am 5'8" and 150lbs, i fit like a glove in it. And there is minimal storage. You can fit a set of gold clubs, but nothing else is going in there.
The engine and drivetrain seems to be rock solid. Power is very stout and responsive. It def is a joy to hear the exhaust note (but nothing compared to a good ol' Vette V8 sound). I know they also respond very well to supercharging and TT setups. Can make gobs of power and it holds it reliably.
Overall, its just a very sexy car. Has retained very good value over the yrs which is also nice. Consider an 03 Vette vs an 03 Viper, you're talking 20k vs 40k respectively (if equal mile and condition).
if you want to try something different, i suggest doing so. But be prepared for the above. I feel everyone should try something once. Just so you know. If not, sell and buy something else. There will always be a strong market for this car...

Thanks for the info. Ive always been a viper fan and thought now might be a good time to get into one. I will probably just wait and see if the C7 offers a Z06 and pull the trigger then.
My brother goes to school at bethel university just a little north of you. Winters must be tough looking at all 3 of your cars just sitting in your garage.

I just got all these this yr. Bought the Viper and the 996tt just two weeks ago (in the same week ) so haven't experienced the winter feelings yet. But they will all be stored at my warehouse anyways where i am at everyday. So that eases the pain a bit i guess. haha
